More Fallout from the Building Inspection Commission

P.J. Corkery reports that a lawsuit may be filed by one department head against another. The dispute stems from the infamous Building Inspection Commission (BIC) hearing a couple of weeks ago when members of the Residential Builders Association made prejudicial comments against Amy Lee when she was up for the Director's position.

The Director of the Commission on the Status of Women fired off an email to former Supervisor and now head of Treasure Island Tony Hall accusing him of making sexist remarks at the BIC hearing. Now Tony Hall is threatening to sue her for libel. Corkery also reports that Tony Hall may hire attorney Whitney Leigh, friend and confidante of former Supervisor Matt Gonzalez.

Former Supervisor Matt Gonzalez apparently took a real interest in the infamous BIC hearing fallout in general. Sources in City Hall claim that the former Supervisor was making calls to Supervisors at City Hall about the resolution that Supervisor Peskin sponsored censoring Joe O'Donoghue from the Residential Builders Association for his role in the hearing. No one will go "on the record" about the content of the calls though.
