When you have an emergency, you call us. Now we
are facing a crisis and need your support.

Thursday, May 4th, Front Steps of City Hall, 5-6PM

When you call 911 in an emergency, we’re the ones who respond and send
help. Our roads and transit systems are safe because we keep them that
way. When your child is injured, we provide her with medical attention. We
support families, neighborhoods and generate revenues for our city.
We are the first responders. And we are your neighbors. On every ordinary
day, and in extraordinary circumstances, we work for San Francisco.
Despite this, and even after the sacrifices we’ve made for the city in its
lean times, we are now confronting punitive takeaways at the bargaining
table. City workers are facing the prospect of being priced out of the
very community we serve, and the city is pursuing outsourcing our jobs.
