Goodbye Adriel: We will miss you



Friday was the last day for Adriel Hampton at the SF Examiner and boy will SF miss him. He was a fair and impartial news reporter. I recently ran for office and had to run the gamut of reporters. A very unique experience that I would recommend to everyone. He never had an axe to grind and always gave a fair rendition of events. Too unusual in SF. Once or twice I thought he got it wrong, but he had a great batting average.
His political column was interesting and sometimes gossipy, but not snarky. Also rare in SF.
Speaking of good reporting, on the SF Sentinel front, the host committee has been working away, and a bunch of politicians have signed on to be on the honorary host committee. There will be an official invitation by Tuesday. Check back for details. Here is what there is so far with information on where you can send a check if you can't make the party:

If you are unable to attend the event, checks may be

CA 94133 and checks should be made out to the San Francisco Sentinel.
