New report shows digital divide still persistent
I was lucky enough to be a fellow at the Stanford Center on Adolescence at the same time as Ulla Foehr. She is co-author of a study by the Kaiser Family Foundation about children and the media. One of the findings is that, for children between 8 and 18, the gap to internet access has closed considerably but still remains a significant difference between different racial and ethnic groups and groups with varying socioeconomic status.

This is a problem that can be solved.
