2nd class citizens
The message is pretty clear. There are alot of folks who don't seem to care that lgbt folks are treated like second class citizens. I can think of at least six and more come to mind as I think longer.
We should write up a hall of shame for those who were to cowardly to act.

One of those who should truly be ashamed of himself is Assemblyman Tom Umberg of Orange County. He was barely elected last year in a bruising primary fight by 400 votes -- with strong support from the LGBT community -- but when the time came to show his gratitude, he was M.I.A.
It is bitterly ironic, when you consider that when asked what his favorite book was, Tom Umberg said it was "Profiles in Courage" by John F. Kennedy.
